My letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

I have been a very good bear this year. I have cared for, and taken care of, Craig and Teresa. When Craig had his jaw lock last Christmas I looked after him and cared for him. And when Teresa stays up through the night doing arts and crafts I have kept her company. So, I am hoping that I am on the good list and that I am not on the naughty list like "Bear Attack!" Harry. ;)

I would like for Christmas:

1. A donut maker from Sainsbury’s, so we can make donuts whenever we feel hungry.

2. A Playstation 2, with the number of bears that live with us it is very difficult to get any time on the Gamecube, so I would like a ps2 so that I can play need for speed without being interrupted by the other bears

3. An Amazon gift voucher, there is so much on Amazon I would like to buy so if I had a gift voucher I could get some DVDs for all the family

4. A teddy bear from Harrods, I know that there are far too many but at Christmas I can't stand to think of them stacked on the shelves without a home.

5. A big box of Lego for Craig and me to play with.

6. To go and get my brothers who are in storage in Luton. I haven't seen Furry for nearly a year and I really miss him. :(

I hope that I am not asking for too much.

Now I need to give you directions to get here as since we moved we don't have a fireplace, so this time you will need to land on the roof and squeeze down the heating vent. It maybe a bit hot, so please don't burn yourself when squeezing down. I will leave some cookies and soya milk (I heard you were lactose intolerant) for you. Please take a 5 minute break if it is hard work climbing down the vent, I am sure Craig and Teresa won't mind. Their sofa is very comfortable. :)

I hope that you have had a good year and had a good holiday with Mrs Claus. Merry Christmas.

Love, Cuddly

Pillsbury Doughboy

I was looking through old images on my computer earlier and found this one image. I thought it was quite funny, but Teresa said it was evil.

I found an obituary to accompany the image which said "Please join me in remembering a great icon of the Entertainment community.

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complication from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and CaptainCrunch. The gravesite was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.

Doughboy rose quickly in showbusiness, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop-Tart.

The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes". :) Posted by Hello

Bear Movies, not Bare Movies

I don't think that bears appear in movies enough, there are far too many films with unnecessary bare people (naked) and not enough films with teddy bears in them. There have been some films recently which have featured celebrity bears such as AI (the super toy bear), Brother Bear (which had a cartoon bear), and the Country Bears (based on the Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland). But other than that there aren't that many. :(

Wouldn't it be good to see in films like Spiderman 3 that Peter Parker has a teddy bear in his bed at home? Or Will Smith has a caring and soft side after he has gone and stopped nasty robots from taking over the planet, and comes home to a teddy bear? And what about Julia Roberts? She can have me as a teddy bear anyday. ;)

Us bears would like to see more teddy bear sidekicks along the lines of teddy in Mr Bean, Family Guys Stuey having Rupert, and Garfield's bear Pooky. Everyone needs a cuddle once in a while.

Just food for thought.

I hate spam

I hate spam and spammers. Just recently I have found people using my domain to send spam to all manner of people from around the world. I am not happy about this but there doesn't appear much I can do other than accept that I am going to get MAILER DAEMON messages bouncing back into my mailbox. :( If I ever get hold of the spammers then I will do a BEAR ATTACK and knock them to the ground until they stop.

American visitors

We had some visitors from the USA this week. They arrived on Monday and as a consequence we had to give up our bedroom so that one of them could sleep in there. We didn't mind as they were nice to us and were very friendly. We particularly liked Heather as she had a bear of her own. :)

Here is a picture of them, Ronn, Heather and a Beefeater at the Tower of London. I think Heather was about to turn around and attack the Beefeater for poking her in the side. ;) Posted by Hello

Henry

Henry is our new friend. He was bought for us by Heather as a thank you. Its another bear mouth to feed, but I don't mind. :)

He has already got into the spirit of things, and nabbed a jumper from Harry. His middle name is Honey due to his colour, but we already had a bear named Honey and didn't want to get confused so we call him Henry. Posted by Hello
